A Cozy Couples Session

A couples coffee shop session has been on my session bucket-list probably since I started photography! I’m an avid coffee shop attendee (although I only drink tea: chai is my go-to) and always appreciate a cute & “vibe-y” shop to sit in when I meet with a friend or get work done. The first time I walked into FeelLove Coffee in Loveland, I knew immediately it would make an amazing backdrop for a cute couples session.

So, when KaitaMarie asked about doing a couples session at a coffee shop in Northern Colorado, I knew immediately where we would go! It was just starting to warm up and experiencing the fluctuating early spring weather as Colorado does. Partly cloudy and a brisk 55 degrees, it was very much the perfect weather for a cozy coffee shop moment. They both wore sweaters and bought a coffee to sip on throughout the session. (One was a rooibos turmeric latte which was seriously amazing.)

The coffee shop was poppin’ so we started in the back in a cozy little corner. I just had KaitaMarie & Tim sit on the couch chatting, then we moved to do a few standing poses making use of the doorframe. (You’re going to want to see the most romantic doorframe lean in their video!)

We popped around a few spots in the shop, really making the most of our time in this super unique coffee shop. They embraced the coffee shop date vibe just talking the whole time and shared super sweet moments together. I captured both photos and video during their session and OMG the music I found to put into the video: it was perfect. “Falling In Love at a Coffee Shop” by Landon Pigg. Tell me that isn’t the most perfect title ever. And it really feels like the type of music you’d hear at FeelLove Coffee.
