My Northern Colorado Wedding Venue Bucket List
aka places I’m dying to tell love stories at…
Okay so real talk - when I picture a dream wedding day, it’s not just about the perfect dress or the cutest details (though, yes pls). It’s about the setting - where the story unfolds. The light, the vibe, the way the space feels. And in Northern Colorado? There are some seriously stunning venues that I’m just... completely obsessed with. Some I’ve photographed already (looking at you, Sweet Heart Winery), and some I’m manifesting hard.
Here are a few spots on my bucket list - not just because they’re beautiful, but because I can already see the story unfolding through photo + video. True-to-color edits, romantic light, and allll the feels.
Sweet Heart Winery – Loveland
Sweetheart Winery is one of those places I always get excited to go back to - mountain views, vineyard rows, and a riverside ceremony spot that’s just so good. It’s the perfect mix of laid-back and elevated, and the whole vibe makes the day feel easy and beautiful.
I’ve photographed here a few times, so I know all the best little nooks for portraits and golden hour magic. Would be so happy to shoot another love story at this gem of a venue.
Sundance Trail Guest Ranch – Red Feather Lakes
Sundance Trail Guest Ranch is the ultimate cozy, Colorado getaway spot—mountain views, wildflower fields, and horses casually roaming around like it’s no big deal.
It’s super laid-back, super scenic, and perfect if you’re into that rustic, just-married-on-a-ranch energy. The whole place feels like summer camp meets western romance, and it’s got all the space you need to celebrate with your people and then crash in a cabin under the stars.
McCreery House - Loveland
The McCreery House is giving vintage charm in the best way - think cozy garden vibes, dreamy light, and a house straight out of a rom-com. It’s perfect for couples who want their day to feel personal, chill, and a little bit timeless.
The whole space feels like you’re throwing the prettiest backyard wedding ever, with just enough elegance to make it feel special without being over the top.
The Landing at Estes Park
The Landing at Estes has all the cozy mountain vibes - river views, tall trees, and that golden light that makes photos glow. It’s peaceful, scenic, and feels like a little getaway.
Couples love how easy and special the whole weekend feels - and I’d love to shoot a wedding here for all that natural beauty and laid-back charm.
Lyons Riverbend
River Bend is one of those places that just photographs beautifully with riverside views, red cliffs, and dreamy golden hour light, it’s full of stunning spots without ever leaving the venue.
Couples love how peaceful and tucked-away it feels, with all the Colorado charm and space to celebrate surrounded by nature. It’s relaxed, romantic, and effortlessly beautiful.
If you're getting married at one of these venues (or anywhere that feels like you) - I’d love to hear all about it. I offer custom photo + video packages and some extra perks for couples tying the knot at one of my bucket list spots.
